Forge Museum

Located in the old Paredes de Buitrago’s Forge, there have been different actions of rehabilitation done to its architecture and surroundings.

In the interior of the Museum there are different elements related with the Forge’s activity: bellows, anvil, forge tools, chimney, basin, etc.

This museum recovers the smith-blacksmith figure, also the tools and the iron transformation process, by an audio system that transport us to a fully functional forge.
 
In the outside we can observe other things related to the forge: the Fuente Vieja (old fountain) from the XVII and XVII centuries, the cattle crush and the manger.
